This rounded bowl stands around 5 inches tall. A line drawing of the animal chosen is carved in with colorful shapes painted around it. The bowl is dipped in a clear glaze to show off the speckles of the clay body.
The Marine Iguana conservation status is considered to be vulnerable. Most subpopulations of the Marine Iguana are considered vulnerable as well. However the populations of San Christóbal, Santiago, and Genovesa Islands are classified as endangered. Environmental fluctuations and feral animals are the Marine Iguanas biggest threats.
